This khukuri derives it's name from from the Chainpur village in eastern Nepal. It is unique in that the notch in the blade is closed and the handle is different. This one has a beautiful rosewood handle and a water buffalo leather scabbard.It has a HIGHLY GRADED carbon steel blade which is strong enough to cut wood or bone! It has a full tang which means the metal of the blade fully goes through the handle for maximum strength. The craftsmanship on this knife is amazing so if you are looking for the finest quality khukuri you will not be dissapointed.This khukuri also includes 2 smaller knifes in the scabbard. A "Karda" which is used as a small utility knife. Also a "Chakmak" which is used to sharpen the knife. The paper is eco-friendly and made from the bark of the Daphne cannabina/papyracca tree.
